Tastes Like Caramel

Feist// I saw Feist last summer at McCarren Park Pool in Brooklyn [One of my favorite concert venues in NYC]. Broken Social Scene opened and it was just an amazing outdoor show. Since then, Feist has blow up big time and moved onto venues such as Hammerstein Ballroom. I’m going to be frank about the opener, Hayden. He was horrible. The entire crowd talked throughout his set which is probably why he left the stage without thanking us…how rude! Feist was great, but my complaints are the following: 1) She didn’t sing enough from her earlier albums and 2) She took one hour to get on stage after the opener.

Sia// I won tickets to see Sia at the Tribeca artist showcase thanks to The Music Slut. She did 5 songs, but was in tip top form, hitting every note beautifully. Tribeca Film Festival and the Canal Room provided top-shelf open bar for this event, which was also a major PLUS.

Foals// The Foals show was already covered by Jess, but I’ve posted some of my pics from the gig.
