Four Tet at le poisson rouge

On February 17th,  Four Tet played a fantastic late night live DJ set at le poisson rouge with Nathan Fake. While Fake’s set entranced the crowd in a more obvious way, Four Tet’s set was heavy on technological instrumentation, minimal layered build-ups and concentrated mostly on the new release There is Love In You. It’s great to see a steady resurgence of dance culture in NYC’s youth as evidenced by the kids up front for this show (many of whom I saw and met at Electric Zoo last year.)
