Haven’t done one of these in awhile as people have been well behaved at gigs lately. However, this was not the case 2 Saturdays ago when The Golden Filter played a show at Brooklyn Bowl. It was a cold night and it didn’t seem like much was going on that night in New York so everyone ended up at the free show, not even knowing who was playing.
My concert buddies The Culture of Me and It’s Wet Paint were not digging the crowd at all but I tuned everything out with my anxiousness for the show. It wasn’t until the end of the set when a group of amazonian girls pushed their way to the front of the stage for the last song dancing obnoxiously, carelessly and even worse singing totally off key without even knowing the lyrics.
As expected the show kicked ass but unfortunately not theirs. Check out my pics/review from the actual show HERE.
ugh how dare they try to have fun. so obnoxiously inconsiderate of people like you who stand around silently judging everyone. i mean, they want to dance and sing at a concert, and be up front?? yes these girls are way out of line.
yeah agreed. fuck off dude. Im sick of going to shows where everyone silently judges eachother while texting.
Just an FYI, we don’t stand around cross armed judging the crowd at gigs. Obnoxious and inconsiderate people at shows deserve to be called out.
