Massive Attack Live at Terminal 5 [Pictures + Video]
Wednesday night I crossed off yet another band from my “List of Bands to See Before I Die” when Massive Attack hit Terminal 5 in support of their latest record Heligoland. I was given a very last minute opportunity to see the legendary trip-hoppers, therefore I missing openers Neon Indian and Martina Topley-Bird (who later joined Massive Attack onstage.)
The set was heavily focused on new material but fan favorites were also performed before an awe-inducing backdrop of lights and visuals. Highlights for me included Martina Topley-Rose’s rendition of Teardrop and Horace Andy‘s vocals on Angel (which you can enjoy below.) Setlist courtesy of Sheena Beaston.
