If this is what we can expect from London clubland in 2010 then we must brace ourselves. Get Loaded in the Dark is a NYE party on serious steroids with something to offer everyone and their mom. There will be dj sets from the likes of BBC Radio goddess Annie Mac to production sensations Chase & Status to the mammoth Simian Mobile Disco.

One of TLC’s favorite acts of 2009, Golden Silvers, will be performing a live set and will be joined by a myriad of other djs/performers throughout the night. Yes, advance tickets are sold out but another allocation will be released shortly. If you plan on going big this NYE, there’s no better place than good ol Sarf London with this impressive lineup.

I watched the stream from the comfort of my computer and enjoyed every second of it!

The setlist consisted of 9 new and old songs with special guests Jeezy and Jay-Z. My favorites included the re-worked version of Disturbia, the racy live version of Don’t Stop the Music, Hard with Jeezy and the duets with Jay-Z on Run This Town and Umbrella (check out that awesome microphone!)

With this said, I’m officially in love with Rihanna and will hopefully be seeing her live and in the flesh in New York sometime soon! Setlist and screen-capped pictures below. Check out Nokia’s Rihanna micro-site for more info and re-streams of the set.

No Kind Words is a track from forthcoming sophomore album, Wall of Arms out May 4th, and had its premiere as The Hottest Record In The World on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 show tonight (Feb. 9).

The Maccabees’ debut, Colour It In, is a gem that has been harshly overlooked in The States — a deeply affecting, lilting and sentimental musical effusion. Wall of Arms promises to be one of TLC’s most anticipated albums of 2009.
